One of the exciting things for me about being in a new house is discovering all of the plants that spring up unexpectedly. The other day as I was coming back to the house from getting the mail, my eyes fell upon this wonderful surprise-a peony plant! I think peonies capture everything beautiful about being a flower: incredible scent, vibrant color, soft delicate petals and an intricate pattern. Anyway, this may not thrill anyone else, but I was excited and considered it a kiss from my Father.

Amen. I love the small things He does to remind us how much He loves us. Today it was having a fellow resident help write a note for me on a patient unsolicited. I love you!
