Strolling with Mama

The weather this week has been nothing short of amazing with 60 degree weather everyday, so we've been walking a lot. It's been so nice to get fresh air at the start of the day.
It was still a little chilly when we started but by the end the blanket and the coats were off.

A Few More Winter Pics...

Okay, so there has been a little bit of snow here, and when it comes we have a great time playing outside. Here is Isaiah licking his snowman (he's way more interested in eating the snow than he is playing with it).

Here is a proud Daddy with the train table he put together for Isaiah for Christmas. Needless to say, playing trains has gotten a lot more fun since we've had the table and track set up.
Here is another fun cardboard box invention; a surf board (this one was actually Mommy inspired). He loves the movie "Surfs Up" and wanted to be just like Cody Maverick, so we cut into a Costco box and...voila!
Running to catch a wave.

Some Razavi Winter Fun!

One of the most common conversations passing between my mom friends and I lately is, "what do you do to stay active and sane in the winter?" Thankfully, Colorado weather this winter has been beautiful and we've only really had one week of unbearable temperatures (sorry to all of my loved ones in the Midwest who have been freezing most of the winter), but with darkness falling at 5:00 you do have to be creative in the evenings. So, I thought I'd post some pictures of what we've done to have fun this season.

Ramin and Isaiah are always inventing things out of cardboard boxes (thanks Costco) and this was one of the best...a sled of sorts with a comfy spot inside for Isaiah to sit that was hurled down the hallway as fast as Ramin could get it to go. Isaiah loved this invention!
Isaiah, as you know, LOVES trains, so lots of our time is spent scooting these friends around. He talks about each of his Thomas trains by name and likes to discuss the difference between "steamies" and "deisels." It's cute.
I included this picture because it shows you his favorite vantage point when playing with his trains. He kneels down so he's eye level with the top of the table. He gets a better view of the wheels that way and the wheels are definitely his favorite part.
For those of you who know us well, you know that we love to be silly, so we spend a lot of our time goofing around, playing funny songs on the guitar, playing "Mommy HIDE!!" and dancing or "grooving" as Isaiah likes to call it.
SILLY BOY!!!
